Terry,
I doubt you have 48 megs.  Now here's the new kid on the block trying to help.  
If you go into where you can choose which disk you want to read from, hit space 
so Braille note gives you the choice of which disk.  Then space.  Wen it 
mentions a disk, hit I with the space bar.  It will tell you how much of the 
disk is used and how much is left.  Don't try that command if it says return to 
etc.  Just when the disk is listed.  Does this help?  I hope so. I bought my 
braille note in October and have that 5.00 version.
