Denise, I'm not sure your question has been answered so here goes. Your flash disk has 16 plus megabytes, not 8 gigs. I just erased a volume from web braille which was about 200 pages; this freed up approximately 175 bypes so this should give you an idea of how little space a book really takes up. The question about how to determine free disk space has been answered many times on this list, but if you have missed that, let me know and I will be happy to tell you. Many of us who want to download a lot of books buy storage cards so that we can do so without having to be concerned about the amount of available space we have. Good luck!
