Hello,
No, it is not a slowdown where the e-mails are still being downloaded.  I think 
I know the difference between a slowdown and a lockup.
I needed to reset before the braillenote would do anything if it were a 
slowdown I would still be able to perform a function or check the status of the 
download etc.  but with this I could do nothing but reset!
