Hi, Rose:
  From the main menu, press A, then L.  Then, press Enter.  You'll see 
"selection "list"? Press the SPACE bar, and you'll see "last name".  Just type 
in the last name, and press Enter.  If you have more than one person with that 
last name, you'll be shown those names.  It works great.  HTH.
