I might have got a new Motherboard; I forget now.  But the memory went up
and the speed.  I'm pretty abysmal when it comes to remembering what's in
the machine and why.  Especially if it is still working.  But I do need to
upgrade to Windows.  Thank you for your help.  I have a friend who would
probably give me a windows computer and be glad to get a good computer out
of his basement into the hands of a dedicated user.
