Thanks very much for the tips. I have tried resets with and with out holding down the sdf keys before but, though this has been effective with other problems, it has not fixed my manual. As to making adjustments in the IDX and TOC files, I'm just not comfortable doing that. I would rather spend a little time tracking down the correct manual file than risk messing up something else in the process. Besides, hopefully when the next upgrade is installed it wont really matter anyway. Thanks again
