Hi folks, I have an ambicom wireless card. Do I need to perform any setup configurations to the card before I use it? How do I tell whether the card is working? I ask these questions as I wasn't too sure what to do and pressed y to switch wifi on and then pressed scan automatically. I got a message saying no networks in my area, but is that created even if the card isn't working properly? I'm assuming there are private networks which ui need to find out ssid and other settings, how can I go about trying to find out who these private networks are and finding out if I can join them?
