[Braillenote] Help, can't use Compact Flash Card!

Help! I just bought a 512 MB Sandisk "Compact Flash" card for my BN. It 
seems to fit in the slot fine, but the BN reports "Card unrecognized" when 
I insert it.

What's going on?
I thought this was a pretty painless procedure ...
