Maybe my command system is a little different with Voice Note, but when I want to open a Brf file, I go to the optionss menu choose "k" without the quotes of course, choose the braille setting and type "b" without the quotes for grade two braille. Then I open that brf file. I never mess with those settings. When it asks me to review options, I just say no. The defaults have worked just fine for me. There is one thing you should keep in mind. Scans aren't always perfect, so don't expect a perfect text all the time. Hope this helss.
