Sorry for the errors. The PC and I are getting along fine, grin. John, what I meant to say, from the Main Menu, press W, then O. Get to the compact flash drive. At the "folder name" prompt, press Space with T, if you're using a BN. You will see a list of subdirectories, and can erase them at that point.
