My parents bought a brailler for me when I was 8 years old. It still works great, but it sometimes adds dots. I use it for labeling and the BN is my main notetaker, but I wouldn't part with my Perkins brailler for any sum. Besides, if the power goes off and the battery in the BN goes dead, I can still write, (grin).
