Mary Ellen: My VoiceNote did exactly the same thing this summer and I talked to Dan from Tech Support and he said that "Yes, even if the unit didn't have enough juice to start up, it could have enough to start the reset sequence". He just recommended plugging it in and letting it fully charge.
