May a humble Brit be allowed to put a slightly different "take" on this subject.

At the beginning of December, I am due to attend a carol singing get-together
in London, about two hundred miles from my home. I was asked by the
organiser, a blind lady, to send a cheque (or to you, a check) to cover the
cost of refreshments. After typing the address, I brailled, on the two long
edges of the envelope, the words: "Jim's Sandwiches". The cheque (sorry,
check) arrived safely, and the blind person was able to identify it immediately.

Perhaps some of you could suggest this idea to your unthinking BrailleNote
providers.

Kind regards,

Jim Taylor.
