Laura, "Didacticism" is a splendid word, invented or not, and probably a synonym for "Pedagogy".
However diligently one uses the spell checker, one can always be caught out, particularly if one has a lazy dots one and four on the BrailleNote keyboard, as I have. A few months ago, I sent an e-mail to someone, and expounded in one paragraph on the glories of the spell checker. My friend replied immediately, pointing me to the second to last paragraph of my original message, which contained the word "hose" instead of "hope". He pointed out, quite rightly, that the spell checker is only as good as the user allows it to be. With which didactic or pedagogic thought, I'll leave you. Warm regards, Jim Taylor.
