Hi, Diane: I'm not really quite clear on what you're asking, so I will probably answ the wrong question, but, here goes! If you're trying to open an attachment, it's found before the message itself is opened. It's in the area where you see the subject line, and who the message is from. Then, if there's an attachment, it'll say: "Attachment: whatever" Then, when you hit Enter, it will say, "detach or read?". You can then either read it right away, or put it in another folder, for future reference. Now, if you didn't want to know this, this whole answer has been for nought! But, then again, maybe not.
