Hi Diane. In Kurzweil 1000, there are different compression levels you can select when MP3 files are created. Have you tried changing to another one? The sample rates we support are all the standard ones, IE 11025, 22050, 44100. It is possible that one of the K1000 options uses a non-standard sampling rate and that by simply changing the compression rate used, that will fix the problem. I have personally had this work just fine for me, and of course K1000 has great integration with the BrailleNote.
