I've noticed this too, in fact I have to say this is the most confusing area of the user guide in my view! My time remained the same but I was changed from GMT to Pacific Time! I've a feeling there's a slight discrepancy here between the manual and the behaviour of the system, but I wouldn't worry too much about it as it seems to do what you're trying to achieve! Paul.
