Dear List, The only way to have the setting options accessible almost every time a problem with downloading is experienced, is to either retain or reduce the default size limit of 50 k, because there is seldom a problem with very small emails. There is a way to change the settings to download email while online, provided that you reach an email which is larger than your present setting. If you get the prompt that the message is larger than your indicated size, one of the options is to change the settings by pressing l. Also, if you press d that particular email will be deleted from the server without having been downloaded. You can also establish the subject of that particular message on which you got the too large prompt, by pressing i.
