Hi, I tried a power on reset as someone recommended in a previous message.
Now when I try to connect it says connecting via serial port, then
immediately says utilities menu then after about 10 or so seconds it squeals
like apig and that's it grin.
Any thoughts?

How about pressing the reset button. Then, try your connection again.
Sometimes that does it for me.
