Hi Dean, Thanks for the information. I would love to take this advice, however, unfortunately, I do use multilingual (Spanish) so I don't want to delete these files knowing I could do something to damage it unless doing so really is not a big problem. If there's anything else I should do, please let me know, otherwise, the crackling really isn't a huge problem. Do you know if it is related to when my speech all of a sudden decides to die on me? I know it's not due to stand-by mode because my Braille display works. It can be a big problem when I am in the middle of web browsing and then my speech all of a sudden decides not to work. I can always fix it with a simple reset. Technical support could not figure this problem out. Thanks for any suggestions.
