Well I have this concern too, Terry. I am definitely for either the removable
Braille Display or a cover which can fit over it. I have tons of the finest
cookbooks e. g. Julia child, for example, which are stored on a micro drive. I
can't use these books as it stands because of the Braille Display.
If there was a cover the Braille Note would happily be in the kitchen with me.
As far as cases for the laptops, Well I have a form fitted zipper bag which is
made by Targus and it goes over the shoulder and is made of this synthetic
material which can withstand most anything but fire.
Laptops, as a rule, don't come with cases as the Braillenote does.
But Yes, I would like to see some protection for the Braille display. for one
thing, it would stay cleaner a lot longer and for another, people like me who
use mostly speach wouldn't be bother with the thumb keys getting in the way.
