I have a one gig Sandisk CF card in my Voice Note that I rarely remove and
have lost no files to date. When I do remove the card to use in my card
reader in the Win 98 computer, I almost always do it while the Voice Note
is turned off. I have loaded and deleted files from the card on the
computer and have seen no problems on my VN. I don't remember ever being
prompted about reformatting the card on the VN. I have never removed the
card while files from it were being accessed by a program on the VN but
rather have closed all applications and am sitting in the main menu before
removing the card, and like I said before, generally with the VN off.
Don't think this is required but I do it just for safety sake.

Hi, List!
I always treat my BNQT like you would a laptop. I insert my CF
cards after turning the machine on and remove it before turning it
off. Does it make a difference? Thanks.
