Sorry guys. I blew the last message. Is there away to search for a specific text string across all files? for instance, you write someone's name and phone number in a file and you can't remember which of your umteen files you wrote it in, and you are disorganized anyway! So, you search for the person's name across all files or at least across all the files in a particular folder. Brian
