Jeff,
   The Braille and Voice notes don't operate with USB (hope I said that right), 
but that's what today's printers operate with.  You'll have to get a printer 
that has a parallel port or one that can operate with the infrared feature on 
the Braille and Voice note.  The printer with the parallel port is hard to 
find, because companies have stopped making them.  You should check with stores 
in your area that sell printers and you may be lucky enough to get one of the 
last parallel port printers in stock.  If you can, you'll find it very 
inexpensive since no one else seems to want them.
   I can't comment on the infrared printers because I just discovered the 
infrared feature on my Braillenote.
