How much trouble have people had with the internal modem? I have often actually, a lot of trouble with mine with getting it to log on. It's just after midnight here nov 3, and I spent probably a half hour trying to get my modem to log on. I forgot to mention this when the bn has been in the shop and I don't want to send it in just for this, but it's aggravating. Can one buy a modem on a compact flash card and if so, would you use the hayes compatible setting or the serial cable setting and what success have people had trying these cards? I think when I was at guide dog school this year, I could log on like i do with my computer here at home. log on and leave it alone. I cannot here at home do that with my braille note i have to baby sit it until it is receiving mail. I'm going away in a few weeks, so will see how the modem behaves then, but is this taking several times to log on with the internal modem common?
