I've had it happen to me when I didn't clean up my system. For example, once I had a very large amount of email, trashed it, emptied the trash, but didn't bother to free up data space before I downloaded another batch. After that I decided always to clean up before I post and download again. If the system behaves strangely at any time, It gets a reset. I've never had a problem with those strange subject lines since then. Hope this helps.
