Hi,
When we first heard about Keysoft 6.1 last year, we were assured that we'd
be able to work with MS Word files created by versions 2002 and 2003. While
this may be true, I've been able to get away with it to a certain extent
even with Keysoft 5.x. One thing I've noticed recently, aside from the
catastrophic zap that I mentioned in my last post and which has me perturbed
is that Word 2002 files containing tables will definitely crash my BN with
6.11, although it's not a fatal error as before. But it makes me wonder: so
Jonathan et al, I'm going to ask you point-blank, what's the real scoop on
this? Did Keysoft 6.1 really address Word file compatibility and portability
issues? I'm not trying to stir up trouble here, but I really wonder whether
efforts in that regard were given less priority than, say, wireless
connectivity issues, planner instability issues et cetera.
