Hi,
My husband downloaded his address book onto a disk in text format.
I uploaded it into the BN, resulting in a text file, which began each time
with that familiar phrase: "this is a text file..."
I copied these into braille files then, just to make it easier to edit out
blank fields.
All was successful, but for each email address, in both the text and brf
files, it had the @ symbol as well as the word "at." So, for instance, my
e-address would have read:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Once I read familiar addresses this wasn't a problem. Any ideas why or how
this happened? Should I do something differently when copying files to
avoid it?
Is it symptomatic of something I should change?
Thanks for any comments, ideas, or conclusions.
best,
kat
