I'd never try it. You can certainly download okay, but you'd better not execute the file whatever it is. The results would, at best, be unpredictable depending on what the program is and/or does. Also, if you're lucky, windows ce would refuse to execute it anyway.
And, as for repairing any damage, I believe the manual also states that you would void any warranty if you were to execute programs other than those privided by PDI.
