I've been watching this thread with interest. Some time ago, this very topic came up on the list. At that time, someone brought up the possibility that the loss of data could be happening because windows CE does a scan disk upon start up of the BN, and that this scan disk could be causing the flash cards to be wiped out. I'm not sure if I've remembered that right, but I'm sure that if I haven't, someone on the list will be more than happy to correct me. As far as fixing the problem, in an ideal world, no machine would ever malfunction, no computers would ever crash, and everything would work everyday, all day, without a hitch. Unfortunately, we don't live in such a world. The only thing we can do is backup whenever we can, but other than that, there isn't much we can do about a frustrating problem.
