Hello listers, I was somewhat surprised to read of the supposed limit for embossing with the braillenote, for though I don't often have to deal with documents in excess of 30 pages, I certainly on occasions have to do so, and have never experienced any problems. indeed, following the point being made, i turned up a work i was reading through last night and which I had embossed a year or so ago. i discovered it reached page 97 and i can assure you, i didn't have to split up the embossing. unfortunately, i can't recollect which software number i was using at the time. two things come to mind: it might well be incompatability of the embosser, i was using a single-sided index embosser, or, indeed it might well be a case of insufficient memory availability. i do tend to try and keep my flash memory as clear as possible and shift files, when i can, on to alternative memory, such as a card or hard-drive. one thing is clear however, the braillenote can and does emboss considerably more than 30 pages. I do sincerely hope you are able to get this sorted out, for there's nothing more enfuriating than to have to restart and re-number documents in little pieces. don Cooper.
