Oh, I often download as much as 200 emails with my Voice Note every day.  When 
it's time to clean them out I just mark all the emails in the inbox with e n 
sign with the space bar, hit it again to choose the 
erase-all-mail-from-this-folder option, go away to do a chore, and return to a 
clean system usually.  Emptying its trash and freeing up data space is a snap.  
I've only corrupted my mail file once this year.  I think he'll do alright with 
his emails if he's patient.  All in all, it does a reasonable job for me.
