Hi again AllWhen purchasing the BrailleNote, should one go with the standard 16 Megs of user storage, or should one upgrade to the 48 Megs? Does this choice affect the responsiveness of the unit, or is it strictly a user storage method preference? Does anyone know how much the memory upgrade cost? ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
Hi I would go for the memory upgrade. If you get lots of e-mail, it might
make a difference. Also, It might help if you do searches in large books.
If you put any books on the flash disk, you will find yourself not having
much memory left, possibly. Just my two cents.
Now, you should know that a memory upgrade to 48 mb is 425 dollars. So, now
you need to decide whether you want to buy a bunch of flash cards for that
price or bbuy the memory upgrade. I knew it was expensive to buy the
upgrade, but I figured it would be worth it in the future, especially when
programs start coming out for the bn.
