At the prompt, if you choose to skip the message, but leave a copy on the server, you won't be prompted about it again because it's not a new message, so it would just remain on the server until you deleted it with the PC; if you had the option set to delete items from the server, skipping the message would have meant you would have chosen to leave that one on the server, and all mail in that session would be deleted except for that one when the entire download was finished, meaning subsequent sessions would just focus on e-mails which have not been manipulated yet. Therefore, you do have to decide at the prompt. You can get info about the e-mail, and make a decision based on that info. If you abandon the e-mail session at the prompt, and re-connect to download e-mail again, you will be prompted about the large e-mail again because nothing's been done about it.
