Susan, I have seen this happen to a couple of BrailleNotes. The only way to fix the problem is to send it in for repair. Sorry, I know this is not the answer you were looking for. I am having to send mine in for the sixth time. I am strongly considering asking PDI to send me a completely new unit, but I don't think I will get much of an enthusiastic response.
