I must have missed the beginning of this thread but here is what I am lead
to understand.
Ok say you have an older Braille Note. Now if you have a sma and it is
assumed you used one part of that sma for the last upgrade which you had to
pay for.
Ok now you have one more upgrade of the sma left.
Now you can apply that sma toward the upgrade 6.1 but thatwould cover only
half of the upgrade. Now in order for you to have the entire upgrade
covered, you would need primarily to buy a second sma one part of which
could be applied to the second part of the upgrade.
Now Say you bought your first Braille Note and got it yesterday. The 6.1
upgrade is free to you.
Now another way to do this is to pay the outright fee for the upgrade and
simply not apply your existing sma.
I tried to go up on to the pdi site to actually get the cost of the sma or
upgrade but don't know where to find this information but remember that the
5.1 upgrade was a freeby so you weren't charged for that one.
