I suppose that a card reader can be connected to a DOS machine by using a 
USB-TO-SERIAL converter.  Not sure if this will work, so it is merely a 
guesswork.  I still have a DOS machine (486-DX-2-77 running DOS 6), but I DO 
NOT have a USB-TO-SERIAL converter and as such I can't run a test.

There are INTERNAL card reader and I think that inserting the card in one 
may work; problem, DOS WILL NOT most likely RECOGNISE the drive.
