Hi David, Thanks much for confirming what I already thought. And, no, I'm not confused, or don't think I am, grin, but just wanted to confirm I was looking at things correctly. I most often just let the PK finish what it is doing before stopping the download, and that does indeed seem to take the messages off the server, at least the ones that have been already downloaded to the PK. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Standen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, May 31, 2005 8:18 AM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] emails
Hi Vicky, Yes, the Braillenote will download your older emails first. However, if you choose to download only some of your messages, then hang up immediately, they will be saved on the PK as you say, but they will *not* be deleted from the server until all your messages have been downloaded. To illustrate your own example, you download 50 messages only, read them, delete them, and start the process over again. You will find yourself downloading the same messages you downloaded last time. I hope this hasn't been too confusing for you. Cheers, David
