Hello: I need some help configuring the braillenote low power ethernet card to work with a cable modem. I just bought the card and am going to the ACB Convention so wanted to test out the card to see how it works before traveling to Birmingham, Alabama. That way I can check my e-mail remotely from convention.
I first tried inserting the network card into my flash card slot with the wire from my cable modem plugged into the card. After a few minutes I get a Windows CE DHCP error that it can't find an IP Address. My braillenote hangs and I have to reset it. I checked the setup for my cable internet connection on the PC and it says an IP address is obtained automatically as well as a DNS address. Has anyone successfully configured the network card to work with a cable modem? If so, can you tell me what steps I need to take to do it? I sent an e-mail message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] which I found in one of my readme files because I was told I would receive technical instructions to set up the network card to work with a cable modem.
