Hello everyone! A helpful person on this list introduced me to the program called CDEX which rips the songs off CD's and makes them either into wave files or MP3 files. It's very simple to use on the computer. By default, it puts the ripped files into the my music folder, where it creates a subfolder called "MP3" and then subfolders under that called, until you change them, "no artist" and "no title." This allows you to change these to create subfolders containing different songs from different artists. Using Windows Explorer on the computer, you can copy these files onto your compact flash or PCMCIA card (the one in the side slot). It's definitely better to keep these MP3 files on these cards rather than on your flash disk of the BN, in my opinion. Of course, if you have added more memory on the flash disk, you should have room for quite a few files.
I'm still trying to find some free MP3 files, while using the BN to explore various websites. I hope to find some sites from which I can download MP3 files directly onto my BN. With a smile, Karen
