Hi Terri; 
Maybe next year I will try the calculator method, but for now the dot 4 is
working fine.  When I write the lower case d for the dollar sign it does not
sound right but when the BT reads it it is read correctly.  the next time I
need to write an equation, I am going to try and put a dot 4 before the
number and see if that helps.

Terri, remember I have a lot to learn.  I have epelepsi and the easiest way
is the best for me.  
If things go well I will be also learning how to use a braille printer on
top of Jaws and the BN.  Now you see why I whant to take it a little at a
time.

If you wanted to, you could go to the calculator, add the numbers and insert
the whole calculation into your document.  The change of grade is
automatically done for you.
