Hi, holding down c4 for a couple of seconds turns the unit off. if pk is in the "braille on" mode, hold c4 down for a couple of seconds then release to turn off the unit. You are right about the sleep mode. it's absence is bad especially when the alarm in the planner switches the pk on and does not switch it off again.

Hi, I just received my new PK and I have a couple of quick questions. I saw in the beginning of the manual how to turn the PK on, but I didn't see how to shut it off. I remember someone asked about this once, but since I didn't have a PK at the time, I don't remember what the answer was. Also, the PK doesn't seem to go into sleep mode like the BN-32 does. Is this the case?
