Josh,
What I use is a compact flash card reader/writer for all my file transfers. It
is a USB device that works on desk tops and laptops. It shows up as a
removable disk in the "My Computer" tree of Windows. It's as easy to use to
save or transfer files as the other drives on your computer. With the price of
1 Gig cfc"s I would choose that rather than the 2 512's. I use the GPS and the
1 gig still only allows the storage of approx 5 usual U.S. States. Noting that
California and Texas are divided into 2 zones. You can never go wrong with
more storage, especially when you may need it someday as they add more goodies
to the BN.

I can't remember who asked about music on the BN but I use that also, another
reason for large storage for the BN. The Media player plays all MP3 formats.
When travelling, I fly alot, I take my favorite CD's and convert them on my
home computer to MP3 format with a "CD ripper" program and transfer them to my
BN using the aforementioned CFC reader/writer. It saves me from transporting a
seperate CD player and the assorted CD's when travelling with my bags and guide
dog.

Steve
