Hi Listers,
This is more for PDI staff but I'm curious if others think these suggestions
would be helpful for the user's guide.

1. I would really like the ability to search the user's guide with the find
command insert what text I'm looking for and then the manual can go directly to
the information. This feature has been in the FS products for years in their
help files. I would think adding this feature to the user's guide cannot be
that hard. Maybe I'm the only one who sees the value in this feature.

2. I think a reference card of some sort would be very good for the BN
products. Reading that command summary in the user's guide is like trying to
read I don't know what but it's darn confusing. Same with the computer Braille
code in the manual. When I actually need to find out how to write something
using computer Braille I consult the National Braille Press reference card for
computer Braille.

3. Put all the information about a particular topic together in the same
place. For example in the keyboard settings part of the user's guide it talks
about how to change the different grades of Braille but I had to open the
command summary file on the Keysoft system disk to find out the shortcut to
change the keyboard grade.

I use the index in the manual more than the table of contents.
Just my thoughts.
Have a great week everyone.
Lisa
