Hi all, Brenda, Google is a "search engine". Its purpose is to help you find information on the Net. What the computers at Google do is search through hundreds of thousands of web pages to find messages or documents that have the words in them which you have requested. this is the simple answer. The difficulty comes in knowing how to search, what to ask for. There are tutorials available on this, but simple searches are not hard. Suppose you wanted to search for computer games for the blind. You go to:
http://www.google.com In the edit box you type: games+blind+computers Then you press 'enter' on the search button. Google will come up with a page where there will be several links to various gaming sites for the blind. You should try it. It's actually kind of fun.
