Hi,

I recently received my BrailleNote PK. I have written about my initial reactions and thought I would provide an update as I have had the chance to try more things.

1. I was able to use a Socket low power ethernet card and connect my PK to my local area network at work. Setting it up was extremely easy. It loaded web pages nearly as fast as my desktop does.

2. I have been using the e-mail client on the PK with good success. Downloading of e-mail is very fast over my broadband wireless connection. I do not like the way that the PK handles html e-mail. The html code shows up as garbage. This needs to be addressed. Otherwise, the e-mail works fine.

3. I used the pk browser to go shopping on Amazon.com. I was able to easily search for and purchase the Sennheiser PX100 headphones that I was looking for. Keyweb worked great over the secure site. I was able to fill in credit card and address information with no problem. Shopping on Amazon doesn't seem to be a problem for the PK at all. This was very cool!

4. I have been using the PK a lot since I got it last Tuesday and have not yet had to do a reset. This pleases me as it seems very stable even when browsing and emailing.
