Keith,

I use the bn with my dsl connection all  the time.  I do go through a router, 
but it should be pretty easy to get the bn to work with the dsl modem directly 
provided you have a network card and set up your directory of services entry to 
use the network connection under the list of modems.  

Unless the provider uses some sort of proprietary software, I don't see that 
there should be too much of a problem.  I'm using sbc global here as my 
connection to the net.
