That is correct, as one needs the hardware changes to do the software upgrades.
By the way, the problems I had yesterday were between the chair and the keyboard! Da! Only had to save the file as it was just text coming up on the computer and the screen reader didn't work as the file was so large, etc. To simple and I was trying to make it complicated.
