Until a GMRS or whatever it is called service is available in Montana, one could not use that phone here so one would definitely be better off with a BN or BN PK and a wireless phone. No doubt this should change a few years down the road!

In the PK manual, this is the only thing I could find about cell phones and the PK. Surely there must be more information that I don't see. However, the advantages of Bluetooth are that there is no need for sight lines, the capture area is far greater (about 10 meters), and Bluetooth is available in wider range of products and services. Here are some examples: Establish a Bluetooth connection with your cell phone for Internet access anywhere your mobile network has coverage. The cell phone can be in your pocket or briefcase while this is happening as there is no need for a clear space between the items.
