I was looking at www.peapod.com. It's a place where you can shop for groceries and have it delivered. Now I'll admit that I haven't figured out how to set up my account. I'll get around to it after an answer to my question. You see, I just went in there with my voice note. I played aroud. I wanted to see what foods were down those aisles.
Well, I saw, and it's a good thing if I could get it. I even tried to load stuff into my cart, but I wasn't worried, since there was no account. I was just looking. Well, I just told my system to log off. The modem disconnected. I asked a friend about how I could set up an accout, but when I called back , I had a page with no title. But I read the text on that page. It said that my shopping session had been closed and that I was logged out of the stor. The only option I had was to continue shopping. I hit that link and went nowhere. So I called the company. The representative told me to do a reset. I was curious, so I told the rep I was using a palm pilot for the blind. She said, as of March first, no palm pilots will be allowed on peapod. Actually, after finding that out, I did a reset, and I was back in the system. So here's the question. Are our systems sophisticated enough to make Peapod think I'm using a computer? I bet you wish I was asking about the location of the reset button instead of this, right? I suspect that Peapod is using java programming. Go see. www.peapod.com Brenda Mueller
